How To Get A Contractor License - California:
California requires a General Engineering Contractor, General Building Contractor, or Specialty License if the total cost of one or more contracts on the project is $500 or more. You can only apply for one classification at a time.
CLSI Will Provide The Following Support:
Complete & submit your application
to the State Contractors Board. Applications must be received
at least (30) days prior to regular board meetings.
Schedule your exam (If allowed).
Register your Corporation,
Partnership, and LLC with the appropriate agency.
Continually
work with you until your license is issued.
